Convinced of this, me. Every time I nudge my stake up the features seem to land more often. Coincidence? Maybe. But it keeps happening.

It's coincidence. The odds are the odds whatever your stake — you just notice the bonuses more when they pay more. This has been done to death on here.

Classic selection bias. You remember the times it worked and forget the dozen sessions where you upped the stake and got nowt. Log it for a month and check.

Fair enough, I'll log it. Still not convinced mind.
