megaways — genuinely better or just hype

Everyone raves about megaways slots but half the time I'm spinning for ages and winning buttons. Am I missing something or are they just flashier versions of the same thing?

Same thing underneath, different presentation. More ways to win on paper, but they're volatile — long dry spells punctuated by the odd bigger hit. If you've got a small budget they'll eat it faster.

I love them but you've got to go in knowing your balance can melt before anything happens. They're a mood, not a money-maker.
